When Learners first start their learning journey, the system asks randomised questions across all the topics assigned to that learner. Quickly, the system starts to gain an appreciation for where the learner is answering questions correctly and incorrectly which first allows the system to make an initial appraisal of the learner’s knowledge level.
Importantly, the system learns about the strengths and weaknesses of the learner across the topics and questions being asked. The system then starts to prioritise the probability of topics where an individual needs greater assistance.
Additionally, below the topic level, the questions themselves are also prioritised based upon a number of factors including whether they have been asked previously, when they were last asked and strength of previous answers. This enables each learner’s journey to be personalised as a direct result of their on-going answers and their focus areas being data-driven to topics of priority.
